Only 7 months to go till the trails open again. Like they ever really got open this season except maybe for the first 2 weeks of April. Its now May 2 and with 80 plus degrees yesterday there was still ice on both Otsego Lake and Blue Lake. It has to be about done by now. So the wait is on but time to start with the summer fun. The Frederic Inn has been close for the past couple of weeks to do some repairs in there so they will be open again shortly as I could use a prime rib dinner. There are still some piles of snow around in spots but its time to han up the helmets. The 2 pics below are one of a sunset last week over Lake Margrethe and the other was from a trip to L.A. ( and that’s not Lower Alabama as the Alabama boys like to say) of the gas prices there. Had a nice trip there with my daughters last week.
