No change in Frederic snow

No change in Frederic snow this Tuesday morning. 28 degrees and cloudy out. I see they had another 5 to 7 inches north of Seney last night. This is definetly the year for the u.p. riding. I had to go up to Lakes of the north again last night to show a home, (seems like I have been up there a lot lately) and I have to say I am still surprised at how wintery it is up there. I drove into the Settings to see if they were open and they were not but there were 2 sleds sitting there and they said they had been having a good ride. Their pic is below. After I was done I was up there and I drove Crooked Lake Road to Sand Lake rd and then went to the Hide Away at Starvation Lake. The snow on those rodes was 100 percent rideable and looked very good to me and that’s not to mention all the other two tracks that could be ridden in there. I have to say I was thinking I shouldn’t have drove that as if I would have got stuck back there I would be there till May. I managed to make it thru. At the Hideaway were the 2 sleds I saw earlier at the settings and 4 other sleds. Turned out the 4 were the same sleds that were at lunch at the Frederic Inn earlier in the day. They had been riding all day and were happy with that. They were from Ohio and they said someone had called and told them that I had put the pic on of their sleds at lunch time. It sure is tempting for me to head to the u.p. myself…….Thanks for checking in. Pete
