Grayling & Frederic area snowmobiling

Nice and cool 7 degrees here in Frederic this morning, should be another good day of riding and with the predictions I am still with the thought that we will make it to tomorrow afternoon. Riders that were in yesterday were reporting good trails and riding but it did get sunny out. In looking at trails this morning on the way to Frederic I saw some dirt along m 93 where there was a curve but everything else pretty darn white. We might as well use up what we have. Once again I was surprised to see that the death count has jumped up again and is up to 22. Now here is where you need to LISTEN UP…. with the snow leaving us in the lower peninsula many of us will be heading for the u.p. Of the 22 deaths so far this season 16 of them have happened in the u.p. Wider and longer trails seem to add up to more speed and deaths so PLEASE RIDE SAFELY… Also this morning I came across this new site that has snowmobile statistics for thruout the united states. Take a look at this U.S. Snowmobile Accident Data     Below are pictures of Sleds parked at our cottage waiting to get their last ride of the season in. Thanks for checking in. Pete
