Mo Mo Nah Chee Chee Nah is a snow chant

Mo Mo Nah Chee Chee Nah is a snow chant, not a rain chant……..The rain was coming down pretty good after I got back to Frederic yesterday about 4 in the afternoon till about 9 oclock and then it turned to snow which gave us another 3 inches overnight. The good part about that is that it really didn’t hurt us. Riders that have been in here this morning say trails are still great so that’s all we need to know. Snow is still coming down and its almost noon Thursday morning. I do a raido trail report every Thursday morning too on 100.3 WQON and part of my update today was that I am surprised how many people call me and ask if we have snow up here and of course I say yes and they say with amazement You Do?   After my trip to Indy this week I see how people south of Houghton lake can think that there isn’t snow up here. 50 degrees in Chicago and 39 in indy and the guys that just left here on their sleds said it was 61 in ohio when they left to come north. I am not sure I like the forcast I looked at this morning for next week which was showing some warmer temps but I guess we will have to deal with that when the time comes. For right now with the MLK weekend coming up I think its going to be pretty darn busy…..Pics this morning were from yesterday of 2 sleds that pulled up when I got back at 4 and a couple I saw at the gas station last night about 8 in the rain and then the die hard Harley guy that got off his sled and walked in here with his walker. His pic standing by his sled with his walker. Thanks for checking in. Pete
