Make it snow and they will come…..

Make it snow and they will come. Slowly yesterday the sleds started coming out. The first sleds first rolled thru here about 10:30 yesterday morning. For the lucky ones to be the first ones out on the trails they were assured a ride that you don’t get very often. Grayling sent their groomers out to pan the trails so we can start to get the base building up and I also heard that the Gaylord groomers were out too. Trail permits were a popular item which makes it a good time to bring it up again to keep an eye on your permits as their are still complaints of them not sticking well, at least the “good permits”, . I tell people to put clear tape over them and also take a picture of it on your machine if you happen to lose it. The phone has been ringing off the hook this morning. I also did a trailer survey at the Days Inn there was 1 and Ramada had 3. I also had the port a potty delievered here to the shop this morning too. So I think we are off and running for the season although we still need more snow as it wont take a long time for what we did get to get torn up. Its still hard to believe that Monday afternoon at 3 we didn’t even have one flake of snow out there on the ground…. Here is a link to the first sleds of the season. First Sleds of the 2015-16 Frederic riding season     There was a report yesterday too of a fully engulfed sled fire up in Micheway, didn’t take to long for the first fire. Its still hard to believe that we didn’t even have a flake of snow on the ground on Monday afternoon and that now we have all this. Thanks for checking in. Pete
