Its looking more like winter

We had another couple inches of lake effect snow since yesterday, rider count was low yesterday but steady and surprisingly everyone seemed happy with the early season riding conditions. I talked to Sandy the snow bunny this morning and they rode out of Gaylord yesterday, she said they had both groomed and ungroomed trails and they were happy with  what they had been on. She also said she talked to a couple that rode up to the bridge yesterday and they said they had a good trip. A good system snow would be a great help to everyone but this nice cold stuff has really helped firm up the ground. I put my plow on my truck for the second time this season just to move some snow around again from the snow plows. The most sleds I saw at once over at the swamp yesterday was about 15. That about wraps things up for today, I am going to stay open till 3 and then I am heading out to the woods to see if I can land a deer with my bow. I only have to Jan 1 to get one and I haven’t spent as much time in the woods as I would like to this year. Thanks for checking in. Pete
