Ho Ho Ho

Its 24 degrees this morning and just had the first sledders of the day in here that came up for a day trip. I know that there are alot of trees down everywhere but I left here yesterday afternoon and went hunting and I couldnt believe how the woods looked on the way back into my stand. Trees down everywhere and I had to crawl under bent over trees. Pretty not easy walking. I did see 4 deer but decided to try and take a picture because the work starts after you shoot one and I wasnt about to try and chase a deer thru that but as luck would have it they caught me as I fumbled around trying to get my camera out so off they went. Anyways back to Sledheads here there were now 3 deaths that I know of this weekend. Not a good way to start out the season. Here are links to both stories. http://www.upnorthlive.com/news/story.aspx?id=840463    http://www.upnorthlive.com/news/story.aspx?id=840463 I really do not like posting things this sad on this day but everyone needs to be aware of how dangerous it can be out there. Thanks for checking in and Merry Christmas to all. From our Sledheads Family to yours. Pete, Cathy, Melissa, Haley & Ellie the Snowmobeagle.
