Its a frosty Frederic morning and I am sure that wont last long. It was up to about 50 yesterday and most of the snowpiles are close to gone. I did see two sleds in town yesterday. They were over at the Swamp but high up on a truck as they had stopped in to see Walt for a good burger. I went over to see if they were coming back from the u.p. and they were coming back from Strongs at none other than the Clarke Motel. Don & JP from Logansport Indiana escaped their cow milking duties for a few days and said they had a great time riding up there and that Andy was a great host. (like everyone didn’t know that). They had rode for a couple days and said it was a great time but all good things must come to an end and things are about done up there now. The ice on Lake Margrethe is starting to get thinner and I can see one big open spot out there but I think it will still take a couple weeks till the lake is wide open. Then it will be time to try to shoot some suckers with bow and arrow down at the shore line. Thanks for checking in. Pete
