From the south side of Chicago

From the south side of chicago and its not bad bad leroy brown. What supposed to be just a day trip yesterday ends up being a little longer than expected. I left TC yesterday morning to go to Indy for the ATA show which is the Archery Trade Association big event. I have always wanted to see that seeing that archery has been a big part of my life. Anyways no thanks to weather, winds and the President things have been delayed. 70 miles an hour winds in Indy and then traffic stopped into Chicago for the Prez. Anyways my sister picked me up and hopefully I get back to TC this afternoon. We had plenty of new snowfall yesterday in Grayling and Frederic which was great but then alot of rain fell on top of that knocking it down and then freezing overnight. Its about 21 out this morning in grayling and while this doesnt kill the riding its going to be a bit stiff till this gets beat down. Thats the best I can tell you without actually being there. Heading back to the airport shortly. The big bonus last night was when I walked out the door into the terminal last night I heard someone say Hey…..It was my daughter Melissa who had just come in on a flight from Phoneix and was only 2 gates away from me. She was holding a Chicago Dog for me which was a great surprise. I walked her back to her gate as she was heading to Denver from there. You just never know who you will run into. One thing that was a big surprise to me was that there is zero snow in chicago or southern indiana. I have been so used to seeing all the snow we have I now see why I get so many calls from people asking if we have snow. Yes we have snow, might be a little rough right now but we have plenty. Thanks for checking in. Pete
