Frederic sunday morning

Frederic sunday morning

Finally some snow. We had about 8 new inches overnight here in Frederic, there have already been a few sleds in this morning and I saw to coming down the trail near the Ramada this morning. I have been up early plowing and the snow in Grayling is much wetter that the snow we have here in Frederic. The Frederic snow is all Lake Effect. Keep in mind if you ride the ground is still very soft underneath and there are still a lot of water holes out there that need more cold to get frozen up. With more snow to come this week and colder temps that should happen. I was here all day Saturday with very few people stopping in but towards the end of the day 4 guys came in that were actually riding in what poor conditions we had. They wanted colder plugs because they said their sleds were running hot……This morning between the Days Inn and the Ramada there were I would guess about 35 to 40 trailers there. They were all filled with Jeeps and trucks that were here for the weekend. There was one sled trailer at the Ramada and there were four sleds out front of Fays Motel this morning too. So maybe winter is here and we can get riding. I might just fire my sled up and go for a ride myself. I have most of the shop here plowed now but I still need to go down and move some snow at the storage units. Some pics from this morning below. Thanks for checking in. Pete
