Fall is in the air

I walked out the front door of Sledheads on Thursday to the sound of clip clop of horse hooves, there were several horses at the corner heading for the Frederic Inn for lunch. I haven’t seen a lot of horses this summer but then again today there was a group crossing to go to the Inn. I did get a picture of them crossing by the railroad tracks. The trains have been passing daily thru Frederic but have been moving very slowly for some reason or another. The leaves are just barely starting to fall and very little color yet. Last week we made a quick trip to Las Vegas and that was fun. Pictures below are the horses and a couple from Vegas including my king size prime rib I had there. I have a new neighbor next door to Sledheads as I just sold the house next door to the shop. Remember if you are looking for a place around our area or have a  friend looking to send them to me. Real Estate sales have been steady all summer and I could always use a few more sales…….So that’s about it for now. Heading up to the u.p. for the weekend. I don’t think there will  any snow yet, its supposed to b nice. Trail Permits are out now and they have gone up to $48 this year. Thanks for checking in. Pete
