Cool & Breezy Saturday afternoon in Frederic

Its a cool and breezy Saturday afternoon in Frederic, I started the week out on Monday by flying out to Denver with my daughter. I was supposed to drive a truck up to Alaska from Montana but that deal fell apart so instead I got a one day trip to Denver and back. I was packed for 11 days and only spent one night. I could have gone off anywhere but I figured I did have work I could do so I came back home. I am sure some other kind of adventure will come along sooner or later. Several atv’s and side by sides out and about town today. Took the pics below over at the swamp today. Earlier this week we had a heck of a storm and the picture below was taken by Krys Lobsinger of the old railroad depot in Grayling with that spooky looking storm over it. The only real area news that I know of is that the Stampede Saloon up by Gaylord sold on May 9. It had been for sale for almost a year. It is closed now and going thru remodeling and will be called Porter Haus. The previous owners Moe & Dakota were always very nice to me and I wish the best to the new owners that I will have to get up there and meet them. I took a couple pics outside of there on Friday when I was up that way. So unfortunately I am not signing off from Alaska but I am here in downtown Frederic which is the next best thing. Thanks for checking in. Pete
