Its a beautiful sunday morning here in Frederic at a much more comfortable 15 degrees. The cold didn’t stop the riders yesterday as they were out in force and it was still warmer than last years minus 30 degrees. No new snow yesterday or overnight but things are holding up well. Talked to riders who have gone in many directions and things seem to be holding up pretty well. Just had a couple in that came back from Cheboygan and they said it was a decent ride down. They are on their way back to st Helen. Trailer counts this morning were 41 at the Ramada and 12 at the Days Inn……There were sure a lot of young kids out enjoying the trails with their parents yesterday and surprisingly I didn’t hear any of them talk about being cold when they were in here. It was good to have a visit from Chubby Roger as he hasn’t been here in a long time and also met a lot of new faces too. I went down to the Frederic Inn to grab a pizza yesterday and these guys were in there and wanted to be in a video, I haven’t done much video this season but here are the guys Saturday afternoon @ the Frederic Inn I have had a few sleds in here so far this morning but mostly its people packed up and heading back home. There should be some people stopping in for a pit stop on their way from the u.p. There is no good place or time to put this line but there was a death on the trail just outside of Crawford County in Oscoda County late last night out past lovells, it was a collision with a tree.
