Calm, quiet & 30 degrees

Calm, quiet and 30 degrees here in Frederic this morning. Still no new snow, last night on the radar it looked like we were in the eye of a hurricane, snow all around us and we were just in a big hole….so once again the weather guesser was off. Sleds were plentiful yesterday as town was really packed here. If the storm for Tuesday really shows that will help us out a lot. People are getting moving slow this morning but they are starting to come thru. Still 49 trailers at Ramada and 12 at days inn this morning. Generally Super Bowl sunday drops off fast with everyone wanting to head home. Had a couple people stop in on their way back from the u.p. and 2 guys on their way back from Canada where they said there was lots of snow. They rode from Searchmont up to Wawa. I did that years ago and we were constantly getting stuck cause the snow was so deep. To bad we don’t have that trouble here. The Darkside Adventures guys are winding up there 2000 mile trip. Its been fun following them along on their journey and it makes me very envious. Mountain man stopped in again last night as I was leaving so invited him down to the Frederic Inn with me for a beer. Luckily he had already had dinner but I still had to fight him off my prime rib. We had a good visit. Scotty Bobby was by with his drone yesterday and did a quick clip of the Saturday action in Frederic. Frederic Sled action on saturday 2/4/17     Thanks for checking in.
