12 degrees and quiet

Its a quiet morning here in Frederic at 12 degrees with light snow in the air and from overnight. After getting back here yesterday and seeing the conditions for my self I am sticking to what I have said all week and its still a little early to ride yet but that hasn’t stopped some sleds from being out. When I left Frederic last night there were 7 sleds over at the swamp and I saw several sleds on trailers in town. The cold is definetly helping firm up the base. I know Jeff from Ohio along with Bad Ass Mike and his snow bunny Sandy came up to ride. The other winter sports are going along as I saw some kids at the sliding hill already when I left home this morning by my house, the ice fisherman are catching walleye on lake margrethe and there is already ten inches of ice out there thanks to the cold. Now its our turn to get our winter rolling. I was just outside with the beagle and I could hear the pipes of a sled off in the distance, I talked to my friend this morning that lives up by blue lake and she said the sled traffic has been slow up there too. All we can do is stick it out, we will get there….Also please remember to do a facebook check in for Sledheads of Frederic snowmobiling when you do make it here. I also have 3 new shirt designs getting done hopefully by next weekend. Thanks for checking in. Pete
